Before the age of 20, I didn't know any Spanish. In fact, I barely survived a year of French in high school and thought learning a second language was impossible for me. That changed when I took a two-month crash course in Spanish and spent a couple years in Mexico, where I continued to teach myself and ultimately mastered the language.
Since 2002, I’ve been speaking Spanish fluently. I’m a member of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese and have had the privilege of translating a multi-hundred-page book for a Latin American author. My language skills have also allowed me to work as an interpreter for landscaping companies in Las Vegas and successfully run my own business, where I managed Spanish-speaking employees.
Over the years, I’ve received countless requests to teach others how to speak Spanish like I do. From these requests, Spanish Made Simple was born. I’ve taken the same methods and concepts I used to master Spanish and simplified them into a step-by-step system that helps others become conversational—and eventually fluent—faster and more effectively.
